John Jay High School out of Section I made the 4 hour+ trip to Corning to take on the Trojans of Corning East on Saturday, April 11. Corning jumped out scoring quickly, but only saw a 6-4 lead at the half. East turned up the defensive pressure in the second half and shut out John Jay while tacking on another 5 goals to finish out the game with a 11-4 victory.
