Under the Friday night lights on Bath's home field, the Rams played host to Section VI's St. Mary's. After the long trip to Bath from Buffalo, St. Mary's showed from the first series that they were going to be a team that was there to compete as they drove the length of the field to take a quick 7-0 lead. That would be the only score though as the Rams defense would stiffen en route to a 17-7 victory and a 1-0 start on the season. The Rams will have little time to celebrate as they next will travel to LeRoy to who had their 43 game home winning streak broken by Livonia and will be hungry to get a new streak started.
